[EVENT] CFNE Visits the New York International Autoshow 4/8/07
Well, its that time of year again, birds are chirping, flowers are starting to bloom and the International Auto Show comes to the Javitz Convention Center in New York. Like last year, we'll going to go as a group, then go out to a late lunch, early dinner in NYC. Jersey Jay and I decided to do it on Easter Sunday this year since alot of people can't make it Friday after work (especially if they don't work near the city) and we'll get to spend more time at the show. Hope to see you there:
Time: 12:30 pm, we'll meet up in front of the entrance, on the left side, outside the glass doors to walk in.
Place: Javitz Convention Center, New York
For more info and ticket prices, check here: http://www.autoshowny.com/

Location: Brooklyn, NYC .. If I can make it there, I can make it anywhere, New York, New York - Fred Ebb
Billy just reminded me to give you guys a heads-up regarding parking around the Javits Center - he works on 37th between 10th and 11th
.... spitting distance to the Javits...
Since last year 3 really big parking lots on 37th have been closed .... so unless you take public transportion ... give yourselves time to park
Location: For the strength of the pack is the wolf . . . . . . and the strength of the wolf is the pack.

"Hey, you can't tell people about the dates of the Auto Show.
This is my event.
You're stealing my event.
I always plan this event.
Get away from my event.
You know I was planning this event.
It's mine. Mine, mine, mine, mine, mine!!!!! "
I just wanted to spare you the headache of trying to plan an event where everyone wants to go on a seperate date. We had the same problem last year, we only ended up with about 6 people going as a group.

Shermon is having his Washington DC event, we'll probably come home really late on Saturday or early Sunday. Last year, we did it on a Friday night after 5 pm to avoid easter sunday and other events scheduled the week after.

Has anyone decided on the DC trip if it will be overnight? I just posted in that thread that I would love to go, but don't want to stay overnight as I want to go to the Autoshow that Sunday. Let me know either way. I am hoping to do both and don't mind being a little tired as I am going on an 8 day cruise starting the following Saturday the 21st. Ironically whenever I tell people I am going on a cruise, I have to specify car or boat
