VIR with National Corvette Museum - Lodging

I had first contacted The Lodge at VIR early in January (about two weeks before registration for the National Corvette Museum event). They told me the new computer system wasn't ready and they couldn't take reservations. Called a couple of times since and never got through. Until today. They're okay to take reservations now. Rate for The Lodge is $89 per room per night. Best bet is to call the main number (434-822-7700) and punch in ext. 101. Early in the morning or late in the afternoon might get you through without getting a tape.

I called about 2 weeks ago and they said they were still manually adding the names. I continued to talk to the lady that answered the phone and she said "what the heck I will just enter your information in right now".

Of course I didnt get an email response so maybe I should call again

If I were you, I'd get a confirmation. Tammy e-mailed me my reservation confirmation.

thanks - she said to call her back if the email reservation didnt come in an email. I am sure the hotel is booked, but as you stated I better get the confirmation email. Though I do have a confirmation #
