EVENT – Corvettes Invade Washington DC Run - SMITHSONIAN & CHERRY BLOSSOMS - 4/14/07

I’ve been thinking about this for a while now, and thanks to Bob (6spd98) & Tom (RPOZ51) for urging me to plan it. It's an opporunity to see the incredible sights/sites of our nation's capital. The Cherry blossom season will be on the tail end, but we should be able to see a good amount of it.
We’ll cruise from NYC > NJ > DE > MD > Washington D.C.
Anyone From PA/Delaware/MD/VA that wants to join us, please PM me and we’ll coordinate meeting spots.

Once there, we’ll do the following:
1. Tour the Smithsonian Museums (Air & Space; American History etc.)
2. The monuments around the mall
3. Capitol
4. White House

We'll do lunch at the smithsonian, and dinner TBD (depending on turnout, I'll make appropriate reservations)

It just so happens that my social calendar shows that I'm not booked this day. Count me in as a DEFINITE.

If it ends up just being Michelle & I we'll meet you guys where you cross into Delaware. If there are people joining in by me, we can meet at the first rest stop you come to in Delaware.

We'll be driving home from Virginia that day - doing the Blue Ridge Parkway/Skyline Drive during Easter week -
