Default Hello Rochester

I'm just curious how many of you are in or near Rochester, NY. I live about 20 miles south of the city and work in Henrietta. I just wanted to say a quick hello.

Nice to meet you Tim. Cool looking car you have there.

I work right down the road from you (at RIT). If it's a dry day, the Vette is here. She like to stay home and rest in the garage when it's wet outside.

I could probably be persuaded to do a Hooters run sometime. I like Hooters.

dam wimmens

Nice looking gen 4

the old boy loves the rain (keep towel handy for leaky t-tops), and even has had fun in the snow and he loves to run

Not to mention the multiple cruises, long hauls, power tour, and laps at watkins glen. Oh yeah and I drive him daily , gets cranky if he sits too long

so...........

where are the rest of you guys in the rock, and when does happy hour start

Good for you for having the nuts to drive it in the rain. Now the snow is another story, that's just crazy. I had an '87 mustang GT back in 87 and it saw full time winter duty. There were some scarry moments in that car for sure.

Laps at the Glen sound like fun. I wouldn't know the first thing about driving on a track though. Do you know if they have 'beginner' days? The thought of going there is a little intimidating.

actually they have a PDA event in sept, there is a thread about it

you pays your money, and get instruction on how to drive the coruse, ride alongs, and then they let you run laps, one or two days

as far as the snow goes, the winter car sh8t the bed, and i need to get to work so out came the green machine

just had to keep the tank full, and remeber to do the old school brake tap to stop, you remeber the thing you had to do before antilock brakes

actually didnt handle bad at all, Im running the firestone firehawk 500and they have proven to be good all around tires

The Glen is an easy drive from my house, but those dates probably aren't going to work for me. I will keep an eye open for future events though. It really sounds like a lot of fun.

It sounds like it's okay to have someone ride along? My wife, god love her, is also a car nut. I have a feeling she'd want to ride along if possible.

Hey John, I was coming home from Custom Brewcrafters tonight and met a red C6 Z06. Do you know if that's a local car?

Speaking of rare cars, has anyone seen that red Ford GT that's been driving around here? I'd sure like to get a closer look at that car.

My car has been parked most of the summer. I don't think I've put more than 300 miles on it this summer.
Custom Brewcrafters, one of my favorite places.

Yup, that GT. Or at least one that looks identical to it. It's gone by my house more than once so I thought maybe it was owned by a local guy.
