Great pics!! I'm gonna post mine in a few minutes!!! I saw your vette pass by while looking for parking and I waved but you didn't see us. What a turnout we had today!!! The weather was just perfect. Even the Ferrari Enzo was there!!!! C6 DVL has an awesome video of me and him going from a dead stop to 100+ mph and another rolling start run up to 153+ mph!!!!!

Default OMG!! Best time at Captree ever!! (With pics!)

Wow, the guys and I had an amazing time at Captree this morning!! Not only was the Ferrari Enzo there and gave the crowd a full show, but I also got a quick ride in Newbe60's C1, then, Ed, FJB, Shermon and a few Z06 vette people did an all out run up the Robert Moses Causeway!!!! Then, Ed and I came to a complete stop on the other end (while scaring the sh*t out of everyone behind us) and we got to do a test run of our little E-town bet. Even though Ed's traction control screwed him up, I can safely say, its money in the bank. Afterwards, we all went for lunch at a diner in LI. Here's a few pics of today's get together:

Starting off the day by with a nice leisurely DVL run to Captree

By the time we got there, the place was packed!!! What an incredible turnout today!! Everyone came out!

One of the Z06vette guys we met up with and his awesome vette.

Lets see what's under the hood

OMG!!! The Enzo showed up!! And he gave us another awesome revv show too!!

All kinds of exotics were there as well

No Mercy and his lil bro was there as well.

Newbe60's beautiful C1

A few pics of my baby sporting its new bling

Another shot of Cool C5

NYC Vette showing his bling as well

The GTO guys will like this pic

And finally, the pic we thought no one would ever see. Rarer than an Enzo, more valuable than No Mercy's Z06 or a mint condition 53

FJB washing his filthy vette!!! I think we finally shamed him into it!!

BTW, the ride home with Shermon, FJB and the DVL was awesome as well. Shermon just fell behind at the end, hopefully, he isn't in a precinct somewhere!

The other day back from Cunningham park, Ed said that I was crazy for going that fast on the northern state. FJB and C6 DVL easily doubled that speed!!! I was right behind them till I got stuck behind an SUV and fell behind. Luckily, I was already getting close to home.

Some pics I took...

Very few 'vettes at captree today

This is why a parent should never let a child out of sight...he'll jump into a 'vette with a total stranger

Alex taking a pic of his car for the first time

Good food and good friends at the diner afterwards...

This could be interpreted in so many ways....

BTW, that pic of me in the C1 is awesome!!! Thanks!

She's a real beauty too. It almost feels like you are back in time riding in her, well, except for the supercool Ipod setup he had in it.

It was cleverly concealed though so the NCRS won't come after him!!!

Great pics of Captree. So you spanked the DVL? hmmmmm..He must get past you before he can step up to me.

He had a bad launch, I could hear his wheel hopping (I thought it was me at first) and his traction control went haywire. With my new Nittos, I took off like a bullet!!! No tire spin at all, 0-120 in what seemed like it was instantaneous!!! I gotta say, the new tires/wheels/suspension have made such a difference, I went up to 153 mph today and she felt so smooth and stable. I could have easily gone faster but I ran out of road.

wow, that was a great run. I'll post a lot of pictures and a handfull of video. The bridge run was amazing. Taking the car upto 155 and then stopping in the middle of the bridge to go all out was priceless. No excuses, but my traction control, when out of control and Alex spanked me. All on video......

Great day at Captree. Makes you wish the people at GM could come and see the great cars they built. Overwhelmingly GM, and the company is in such a mess today.

Anyway, great day and great show. My ride got the first Zaino treatment when I got home, including wheels and pipes.

Here's a few more funny and cool pics I took this morning:

Here's a pic of C6 DVL drag racing an original Mini Cooper before we got to Captree. It was the only drag race he won today. :

Here's a nice C2 we saw on the way there. Notice the rustang on the side of the road.

Here's a sweet looking C3 I spotted as well. I had to break down to 50 to take the pic otherwise, we would have flown by.

Another Supercharged Z06

Finally, a very unique and tricked out pickup that showed up.
