*** First Ever Northeast "Winter Blues" Bar!!! ***
I was talking with Mr. Mojo about opening up a bar thread in the Northeast section so that we have a place to talk without cluttering up the northeast section. He agreed to give it a shot.
In addition, there are a few other specific rules that bar threads have such as:
- no sig posts when replying in a bar thread, it clutters up the bar thread and makes it less like a chat room
- Only one bar is allowed in the Northeast section at a time.
- After 1000 replies, it gets locked and a new one starts by a different person. You can call it whatever you like as long as you specify its a bar thread.
If its successful, hopefully, we can keep making new bar threads throughout the winter (one at a time of course) while we wait for winter to pass. So pull up a bar stool, ask for a drink and let the good times roll!!

Alex,
Kudos to you and Mr Mojo.
This is a GREAT idea, and a good compromise toward resolving the ideological conflicts that occasionally cause eruptions.
Hopefully everyone will play nice, and we will all be able to share our common interest in our hobby, as well as continue the friendships we created here, without pizzing off people who don't appreciate, and aren't tolerant of, our way of thinking.

thanks. they are strictly for racing since the tires on them might last about 3K miles, but toward the end of their life I am sure I will bring them out to a CF function to burn them up.....
