There are 3 other Cartek cars that are Just about done and they are legal
I think Doug is putting his vert back together. That's another one.

That is 13 cars that will dif be legal and another 4-5 that are un sure..

Just keep 10.0 the way it is and If people dont want to put a cage in, well then they can run a slower class where they fit in.

Insanity's list is a pipe dream. Tommy and I already told him we are not putting a caage in our cars. **** you guys all going 10.0x, great class, I step down and quick slowing you down. Eckert sold his car a month ago. Zona? doubt it. he did not even race yesterday. Conway and Monari...one of those cars goes 8.50 doesn't it.

I would like the see the three others come on here and commit.

Marc's not legal. Not sure what his plans are. It's his street car.

Yes, with alittle braking pratice it can be done. Although you might have to give up the stripe on a charging legal car.

Eddie, my car wasn't race ready sat.
I don't need to be 9 second legal and would still run the 10.0 as I have since it's inception.
Whatever the index is I will run it.
I'd rather run all out then have to think about braking.
What you should have asked is who from the list or any list will actually run the event.
I would also consider that now you will now have 2 race car indexes and one street car index with cars that don't belong in it.

Out of this list
The only legal people that run the event now are
Wayne
Chris
Shen
So we will need alot of people to step up and not only be legal but also show up.
Also, can someone list what is legal? Cage, safety,chute,license,etc..
I'm sure it's alot. I certainly appreciate guys stepping up.
And non 9 sec legal cars can still run and win but they might be at a slight disadvantage.

Edgars new proposal would include everyone and help with filling the field.

I'm legal to 8.50 but the only 10.0 index race that I'll be racing will be the next Nationals (depending on where it'll be)

I am prepping my car now to run the Silver state classic one more time, then I'm going straight drag car. I'm already 8.50 certed, and ready to go otherwise. I have been side lined for a while, but I'll be back!!

ZO6 was sold to CYA VET, hopefully he will join us racing. The green car is for sale, but we will run it until it does. Then when they both go he is hoping to come back with a 10.0 C6.

1st - If you run 9's a the track you MUST be legal. when i ran 9.98 in 2003 in my c5 , i was told get a cage.

2nd - 10.00oh is the number to run. but you must be able to go 9.99 to have a good chance 99percent of the time

3rd - its funny how you can use a electronic throttle stops in C5 corvettes and its legal, because you can say its tuning both in the 10.ooh and 11.50 class that goes on . which i think and other racers think is

Mixed indexs is the best way for all of us. for the10.ohh and pro 8 guys, it could would help keep it competitive. Jay, you watch your own tree on a pro lite and we meet at the end. or they WILLslow down the class.
leave it alone or mixed index 9.00 - 9.50 - 10.00 - 10.50 . let ALLof us play . safe and nhra legal . win or lose . just for fun, CORVETTE POWER 32 car field

just my 2cents, have a good sunday

I think if we had to go that route Mike I would be more likely to propose two bracket classes.

A fast one and a regular one.

PS it is Monday

Being that I'm probably the one who started using the throttle limiter the most, all I can say is we are utilizing the factory PCM to it's limits, if others didn't think of it or have that capability then oh well. That would be the same if I whined over having to race you with a trans brake, would I complain? No, I would get a trans brake installed if I felt the difference was too much.

This is why I actually told my guys to not say anything because there will always be someone whining about something, but what you are not taking into account is that it allows guys to run more classes with the same car, either way you have to cut a light and run your race.
