Judy and I are going all the way from Nashville to Arlington!

We're leaving here (NE PA) on Wednesday, the 28th and traveling to White Pine, TN. We'll be departing White Pine the next morning (29th) and arriving in Nashville later that day. Staying the next two nights at the Opryland Hotel and then off we go on the rest of the tour!

We hope to see some of you there. Look us up! Our 2000 Millennium Yellow 'Vette isn't too hard to spot even from a distance! :yesnod:

I live in Arlington, so I'm just going to the Ballpark gatherings. My beast has a whopping 117c.i.d. engine..I don't think it needs to be on the "power" tour!!

qblue92,
you fall into the same group as just about everybody on my list. you will not be the fastest or the slowest vehicle there. if you want to have a good time you have to come out to drive in with everybody. bad part is that Shreveport to Dallas is all highway. there is just something about bring small towns to a standstill when you take the back roads that i really like. i have always wanted an opel gt. thats the car i learned how to drive a standard in. i think a better name for the power tour would be more like car nut tour. everything you can think of will be there. i just wish merlin522 would come along.

Michael, I'm all through with college and I'm looking for rides on the Tour. Any chance I could hitch a ride with you for a day?

Jim,
i wish i could say yes but as its stands right now i am still trying to get the wife to go with me. i told her it would be her or a stripper! we can play it by ear as time gets closer. you however do not fit what i had in mind for the stripper but i bet the wife would be happy with you going instead of the 20ish blonde (not that there is anything wrong with girls with other color hair) :D

I understand Mike. For what it's worth, I'm a leggy blonde, barely 30 years old, I always attract attention wherever I go and have a long history of performing in front of a crowd with hardly any clothes on, but I refuse to wear a thong. If your wife decides not to go, please drop me an e-mail. My own wife is getting pretty nervous with the idea of me trying to hitch hike my way from Nashville to Arlington. Having a few different rides lined up ahead of time would probably set her mind at ease a little bit :)

I'll be getting there as quickly as my thumb can take me from Wisconsin :D

Actually, I think I have a ride lined up to get down there and he told me to call him early next week to find out exactly when he was going to pick me up, but it sounded like he wasn't planning on leaving Wisconsin until early Thursday, which would probably put him into Nashville really late on Thursday....depending on what kind of pace he sets

Six more days and we're on the road. Excitment is building........ This will be my 2nd Power Tour. My son and I did our first one in 2000 in his 69 Camaro, five days after his 16th birthday....This year we will take my 75 Corvette.

I wish I could, but they only gave me five. I haven't heard diddle about getting a banner for you either.

PS--I have a stack of CF business cards that everyone can have.
