Received my Reserved space ticket today.
15th consecutive year for me.
Our group has 13-14 reserved spaces next to Corvette America tent (Top Flight Automotive).
If you're wearing a mask come say hello - from 6+ feet away!

Our food court area is completely different than what you may remember. It has been redesigned to manage social distancing and is working very well. It's not something to fear. It is no different than going to a grocery store. The tables are spaced out and work as a restaurant at limited capacity. Cleaned constantly- the minute someone stands up our incredible hospitality crew is there! Lines are spaced. Entry has changed so that the only people in the food court are those ordering their food and the few at the tables. I have added more "remote" dining options throughout the grounds to help reduce the congestion. Bathrooms are exactly the same. We've had 5 shows under our belt now...not a single complaint from anyone attending. However, we have received an abundance of emails thanking us for our efforts in safety. We have gone above and beyond what is necessary and we are very proud of our team and grateful for our guests. If you have any specific questions regarding our efforts, I urge you to contact me directly at jodim@carlisleevents.com. I'd be happy to help!

When you breathe out, you expel moisture (aerosolized in tiny droplets) that hangs in the air for several minutes and can travel several feet from your body (thus the 6 foot rule but the truth is it can be expelled a significant distance beyond that, perhaps as much as 15-16 feet). As you move around/walk you leave a trail hanging in the air for others to walk through and inhale or get on their skin which they then touch to their mouths or nose (there is evidence that it can even enter through the eyes). Being outdoors helps as it has a greater area in which to dissipate but it is still there and breezes help it dissipate. Walking around the grounds, you will be passing others who also aren't wearing a mask to keeps their exhalations (mostly) contained and provide them with some protection from the exhalations of others.
So, no, you should not take your mask off while walking around. Maybe when you are sitting in your chair by your car in the Fun Field but only when there is at least six feet between you and anyone not from your own household. I would love to attend - I haven't been for more than just a day trip in about four years - and the Carlisle management's precautions are very thorough, but the weak link is having to trust in others to strictly follow all safety precautions. I'm not asking for a refund or to roll it over to next year in hopes that the Carlisle folks will bring in enough revenue that way that they will be around for the future when we have some control over this thing.
It is not my intention to upset anyone or cast blame, just to provide the information needed to make a wise, safe, and healthy decision.

And this is why I'm not comfortable going. Despite the precautions we may take for ourselves and the many precautions the Carlisle management has put in place, there will be people there who do not understand how the virus is transmitted. And some of them are infected and will be spreading the virus.

My packet also arrived yesterday. Couldn’t help but sing “it’s the most wonderful time of the year” as i was opening it.
This will be my 18th consecutive year attending.
Thank you Lance, Bill and staff for making it the best corvette event ever!

Guess they got rid of Sunday next year according to their event guide for this year. The dates in the event guide say August 26-28, 2021. That's Thursday - Saturday. So only 3 days. https://carlisleevents.com/docs/defa...s-carlisle.pdf

Fun Field? Why??? You can buy them at the show at Gate 3 in the building and Fun Field means you can park just about anywhere you want to except Reserved or Chips Circle spaces. So I'm confused as to why you need to "buy" one from someone who cancelled. Unless you're hoping to save a couple bucks. But most who cancelled just had their paid orders carried over to next year.

When they stopped the corvette giveaway on Sunday at 3pm, I stopped staying for the day. There were few vendors and not much going on.
