You register and receive your parade information at the fairgrounds.

Default WI-Fi Availability on Fun Field

Hey Lance et al,

Is there Wi-Fi available on the fun field or do I have to provide my own hot spot? See you in two weeks for the 27th year. Can't wait as always.
Thanks

You're going to want to bring your own. Unless changes have been made, I believe there is only wireless up by the stage, but it doesn't stretch real far. Unfortunately cellular data coverage isn't the best. Like any event with that many people, the cell towers are are oversubscribed and saturated. You'll have full bars of coverage and call quality is perfectly fine, but data can be tough at times. Hopefully the cell companies have upgraded their bandwidth and maybe things will be better.

Check out the event magazine, it provides a list of the vendors attending the event: http://www.carlisleevents.com/carlis...s-Carlisle.pdf.

Hope this helps!

We do provide WiFi, however when there's a LOT of people using the same pipeline it can be awfully slow. I'd recommend bringing your hotspot if you have it available.

Plenty of food at the event, my personal favorite is Stolfutzes - incredible ham, egg and cheese sandwich! Now I'm hungry!

Cheers,

Early a.m..............like sunrise? Try and be there before 8 a.m. if the weather is good to get a parking spot if you're doing fun field or general Corvette parking.

There are places outside of the fairgrounds to eat, but I'm always there at sun up. Before I found a hotel that serves breakfast we always ate at the fairgrounds and I agree with Lance.......Stolfutzes is awesome. Ham pot pie there is a favorite of mine for lunch and their ham sandwiches. But both ends of the food court (under the grandstand in the rear) have great breakfast choices including a buffet of eggs, bacon, etc or just donuts and coffee if that's your preference. And for lunch.........there's so much to choose from you won't go hungry. There are food booths around the fairgrounds in addition to the food court. Oh, and there's a Subway on the fairgrounds too.

For lunch the last few years there's a barbecue place way off in the swap meet area --not in the food court -- that serves up awesome BBQ beef and pork sandwiches. Grabbing a bite there is now on our "must do" list.

We eat at our hotel, and don't get to the field until about 10 am. No rush as we have all day, and I actually like parking up on the hill.
Been going for 30 years now, missed 2 times.

Yep.

Took a look at the site map; he's in the food vendor area next to stall J-163.

To early to know for sure. Many weather people screw up tomorrow's weather let alone 10 days out. I'm going rain or shine. I've been there in the rain before. Still had a great time

Looks like a great forecast to me..the highest percentage of rain is only 40%…That means we've got a 60% chance of staying dry

We are rolling in Early next thursday..I feel like a kid at Christmas!
