They do come off pretty easy. No sweat.

I've seen cars with the stickers lined up along the windshield post for five, or six years at Carlisle, so they are pretty durable also. Some consider this to be a testament to their devotion to Carlisle.

Position it near upper left, (Drivers side,) corner of windshield.

I must be slipping this year, my tag is #26. Last year I was in the single digits.

As others have said, it comes off very cleanly with a blade. A little window cleaner may also be in order.

See you there.

My sticker no is 1482. Stop by and say hello.

I wonder if West Coast Corvettes will be there this year? They were a no-show last year.

Just looked at my sticker; number 407 and I will most certainly stop by....

Guess I dont have the patience, I have never been able to get it off intact...always seems to shred...so I just get the razor out...scrape it off use some WD 40 and the glue is gone...I take it off as soon as I get home from Carlisle.

I can't find it on Carlisle's web site, and Lance hasn't responded to my PM to him.

Sorry for the slow reply, I've been swamped with work and helping with a couple of Charity events the past couple of weeks (plus trying to catch up on emails/phone calls & etc.). Anyway, here's the Event Magazine for the event: CLICK ME!

Cheers,

Lance

Will try intercity

Lance, Do you know of anything around?
Enclosed trailer

Thanks
You can give this privateer transporter a shot... Mark Wettstein 717-226-0685.

Hope this helps!

Yes, you can drive in through Gate 5. Please keep in mind that the roadway isn't paved and it's bumpy. I wouldn't recommend driving your Corvette in through this entrance due to the bumps & etc.

Sorry for the slow response!

Thanks for the reply Lance. I know that you've been very busy the last several weeks. I departed thru that gate last year when we left on Sunday and it is dusty.

Is there a Corvette being given away this year and if so do we register on a website like last year or is it by our entry tickets?

Okay I have a question. I have a C5 that I want to bring to Carlisle. It is not a show car but a nice car that is very drag racing based. (ls7) I want to come and be parked with all of the other corvettes both days. I do not autocross only drag race which I wont do because it is a 10 hours drive and I dont want to break it. My question is what do I sign up for? There are about 6 different things to sign up for. It will be me and my significant other and I am mainly interested in viewing the cars and maybe the swap meet along with some of the engineering talks. Can you point me in the right direction?

When you get to the fairgrounds, stop at Gate 3 and get a Fun Field pass. This will get you premium parking inside the fairgrounds, a goody bag with the "swag", and access to all the seminars, swap meet, etc. You'll get a program inside your bag, or you can pick one up inside the barn where you pick your goody bag up. You can sign up for the parade on Friday and that's a separate cost. You don't have to do autocross or anything you don't want to. We go Thursday and stay till Saturday night. If you haven't got a hotel yet, good luck. Bring a pop up canopy or some sort of shade and a couple of folding chairs (there is NO shade other than the bleachers). Wear comfortable shoes because you will walk MILES! Bring sunscreen too because it's been known to be in the 90's and 100's during this weekend. And bring a camera, and a whole lot of money for all that great Corvette stuff you'll want to buy.

If you are only going for 2 days it would be cheaper to get the corvette parking on grounds I believe, which would get you and a passenger in. I think you can still sign up online, but probably have to pick up your sticker for the Funfield.
