It might seem a little early but in my mind winter is over and summer is fast approaching. OK so I am a little ahead. But reality is some things take advanced planning and dates must be set up so I want you to please set these dates aside for next year. August is a great time to visit Michigan. These events are all within Woodward Dream Cruise Week.
August 14, America's Corvette Club of Michigan will have it's annual All Corvette Show. This is the tenth year and we are planning lots of surprises. The shows web site and regisrtation will be up and running soon. This show is consistanly the largest All Corvette Show in Michigan. You might want to keep the whole weekend open
August 18, 2010 Corvettes on Woodward Food Drive & Cruise. Last year I had over 280 Corvettes, we donated thousands of cans of food & hundreds of dollars. The winner of the 50/50 drawing won 240.00. The caravan leaving the Raddison Hotel took over two lanes of Woodward and was almost two miles long. Check out the video on You Tube. "Corvette on Woodward 08-12-2009" How can it get better? More Corvettes, More donations. So I am working on ???? Keep in touch.

The Dream Cruise is offically only one day Saturday. But, the party is on all week. I am working on some hotel deals for people coming in from out of town. I currently have a block of 20 rooms set up at the Radisson. I am working on other hotels. My event is on Wednesday, August 18. I am also working on something else to do before we meet at the Radisson. I am getting information from the GM Heritage Museum and the GM Performance Build Center. I will be posting real soon and take a survey on what people might want to do. I personally think the Woodward Dream Cruise is a definate MUST DO at least once. I will be in touch within the next couple of weeks. :et me know if you are interested in going to either the Build Center or the GM Heritage Museum.
probably count me in for all 3 events:
1. Woodward Dream Cruise
2. GM Heritage Museum
3. GM Performance Build Center
So, the Radisson Hotel sounds wonderful also.
Whatever other event or place to visit would be great.
I remember visiting the Dodge Museum while attending the Meadowbrook Concours d'Elegance and the Henry Ford Museum.
All great stuff for car fanatics!
