Anyone going to the 2009 SEMA show in Vegas?

Hey folks,

As a member of SEMA SAN, I was recently contacted and asked to apply for an enthusiast research project where a focus group will be given credentials to attend the 2009 SEMA show in Las Vegas.

For a car nut like me, this is one for my "bucket list" and I can't wait. This is a "trade only" show so I have never gone before.

Anyone else going? Anyone who has, any tips, besides comfortable shoes?

Thanks and great to be able to post versus lurking! My assignments have blocked logging into enthusiast sites even when using an internet cafe. Unfortunately that also means that I'm "between assignments" or "on the bench" but hey...I'm going to SEMA!!!

I will be there. All i can say is, its like xmas for a car guy. Im staying at the las vegas hilton, which is a first for me. It is connected to the convention center so i can just walk to the show. My wife is not going this year,so i am free to do what i want this year.

We're starting to get our show trailer packed now in preparation; SEMA is a blast! We're taking a couple of cars, and our instructors will be doing hot laps on Tuesday and Wednesday at the Motor Trend Proving Grounds presented by the Bondurant School. Our booth will be 22489; be sure to stop by and ask about our show special. Hope to see you there!

I'll be sure to stop by!

I'm part of the focus group set up by SEMA and will be posting information, pictures and video to Twitter and YouTube via "nutzforautos" and my personal blog "Paraphilia: Automobilia."

If you're out on either of these places, check it out and I'll be trying to dig deep and get lots of stuff out there!

I'm staying at the Luxor so I'll be using the monorail to commute to the convention center.

This should be a blast!!

We will be there. We go every year. Bring several pairs of shoes, bandaids for the foot blister. Use your swipe card otherwise you will be hauling a lot of literature around with you. Bring your camera.
We will be looking for goodies for the C6 and new Camaro.
