Heavy Metal Guitarist DanFastuca will be appearing at this years annual Johnny O'Connell Charity Auction. Check it out!
Just a quick heads up to all you race / rock - n - roll fans or as I like to call it "Race-N-Roll"! I will be participating in the 2009 annual Johnny O'Connell Charity Auction which will be taking place at the
Petit Le Mans ALMS RACE at Road Atlanta in Braselton, Ga., on September 25. The proceeds from this event will go to support the Alzheimers Association, and a senior citizen day care center in Gainesville.
This is truly a great event and tons of fun, as exclusive racing memorabilia, Corvette Racing related items, and lots of stuff that's just plain cool will be offered! This year I will be donating a Moser guitar, Nady amp, Nady 4 x 12 Cab, and some Jet Black posters, all of which can be signed on request by myself and or the drivers and team members. Legendary Corvette Racer Dick Guldstrand has asked me to represent him this year, offering some great items (all Guldstrand items TBA prior to auction) including a one of a kind 5' x 7' Guldstrand banner!! Kicking off this years event will be a musical performance featuring Johnny's daughter, Kelly O'Connell! Kelly and I will be performing a Taylor Swift song, which is sure to be a blast!! Being a musician myself, I have to say, this is one fantastic version. This virtuoso does it the way it should be heard, loud and proud! A rendition even Hendrix would flip over. Check this clip out of Dan doing our National Anthem before the race at Industry Speedway..
From the man himself..Johnny O'Connell My Annual charity Auction at Petit Le Mans is slowly coming together, and I hope everyone is there and has fun bidding on things. It will take place on Friday that the winners circle at 6:15…and as always the money raised will go to support the Alzheimer’s Association, and a senior citizen day care center in Gainesville.

Set of Michelin Tires
A half day of Karting with me and my son.
Two days at the Bondurant School
Lots of Racing art and race car bits
Also… one very cool thing.. is that my daughter Kelly will be singing a Taylor Swift song… and be accompanied by Heavy Metal superstar Dan Fastuca… who will donate a guitar and amp. That alone should be worth showing up for.
Hope that everyone that attends has a great time, and remembers its all about charity for folks that really do need our help and support.
