Hello All,
I have read the many post about Cruise In III. Most everyone planning on attending have Vettes. What ( if any ) requirements are necessary to attend?
Do you have to own a vette to participate?
PS...My 4 x 4 suburban will definitely stand out among the Crowd of Speedy vettes....Kind of like trying to hide a 747 on a Chevy car lot....:D

I am torn on this one. I was at the first two Cruise-Ins, and I hate to break the streak, but I too am vetteless amd will remain so for a while. So I can't decide if I am going to attend.
Lets put it this way, at last years Cruise In, there was a Mustang participating
So I'm sure your Suburban (or, ahem BMW) will be more than welcome.
All you really need to participate is an appreciation for Corvettes, and an appreciation for having a great time and hanging out with great folks. :yesnod:
J - I hope you decide to attend, it won't be the same without you there. Even if you don't, I hope you remember to hit the forum up for your Relay For Life pledges :yesnod:

Re: Cruise In 3 guests... (Just J)
I do not own a Vette, so YES you can come! The only difference is that I work for the NCM and live here in BG. My girlfriends has an awesome 69 Vert that she will be driving. Anyone is welcome to these events! Requirements are as follows:
1: Register for the event.
2: Want to have fun.
3: Ready to party.
4: Like BBQ and BBQ Chicken.

Thanks, Bill. I am leaning more and more toward it. The only thing that might interfere is a possible track date with [looking around to be sure no one's listening]the local BMW club!

Oh, I think you can count on that. :D But, as I mentioned elsewhere, I am considering easing off the fundraising a little bit this year, since so many have already given so much in support of the 9/11 victims. Either that, or agitate to make this the Official Forum Charity for 2002 and see how much we can raise. :smash:
You just want a chance to win another prize, doncha? ;)
Sounds like you've got a nicer ride than I had at the Cruise In last year. I flew from Phoenix and rented a FORD RANGER! :U Participating in the Drag and Burnout Events was a blast though. That slightly modified Ranger was returned with a little less rubber.
Bottom line ... Go for the experience. Meet the great people of this forum. We've all seen Vettes before.
