I have an electric top fuel dragster, 1/10th scale. Last time it ran, it pulled a 70 MPH pass...and did 132ft in 1.88 seconds, and stoped in under 150 feet.
I also have a off-road truck. Its in a lot of peices right now, its to slow for me anyway. :jester

Adam, sounds like a great idea.. What kind of track are you thinking of.. I have a nitro truck, nitro road car and an electric stadium truck.. Just want to know which to bring?? :seeya

My car definitely isn't competitive.... it's an old Tamiya Frog that I somehow converted to on-road use with a Porsche body.
Oh wait, I do have the stiffened suspension, ball bearings all around, Trinity Stock motor and Futaba ESC. I'm gonna tear up the payment!! Gimme a Type R sticker and I'll waste all you Nitro guys!

I was actually thinking of getting a nitro C5-R, and if I do, i'm in as long as it doesn't interfere with the real racing.
I agree. I don't have an R/C car, but I think it would be a cool and unique addition to the cruise in. Just so long as it doesn't reduce the amount of time we have for autocrossing the real Corvettes. :yesnod:

When? Any size limits? I have a pump gas (sunoco) 1/4 scale Nascar stock car.(yes thats 4' long) full moly tube frame, adjustable coil overs, disk brakes, 2000 Ford Taurus body work.

it should not cost a lot...
all you will need is a parking lot and some barriers... check with the bowling green area, or I can, and find if there is a racing club in the area.
they might just have the lap counters and provide some more racers. I like the idea of making it a joint event with the local group... it would make it real fun for everyone.
Having run an RC track,I know what it takes to make this happen...if you need help, please, contact me... abbogus@yahoo.com
by the way, I have an Associated TC3... with any number of bodies to choose from!!!

I have the HPI Super Nitro with the Silver/Black C5R body. The thing was the only speed release that I had while the Vette was down for the tranny rebuild. Now I just need to put the bigger motor in and get the handling sorted out.
