Question about cruise-in 3

My wife and I are driving down from Alberta, Canada for the big event. One of the big things we are looking forward to is the tour of the Corvette Plant! With the recent security issues, are we not going to get to see the plant in action? :mad :confused: :nonod: :sad:

Hopefully it will be back up. Lats I heard the first of the year the plant was going to reevaluate the public plant tours...

It would be very disappointing to make the drive all the way to KY and not be able to tour the plant. This is our Mecca!

Hopefully they will open it up for special occasions like this if they don't do it all the time.

racer44 - I highly , truley and honestly do think you will see it.

However, you should meet with us, half way - down. Check the NE section for updates, come May 2002. We have 30+ vettes going.

I just received an e-mail from the Museum over the weekend that they are opening up the plant for tours by appointment only for the time being. I thin they will probably be able to swing something for us in May.

BTW...if he is coming down from Alberta, he will NOT be coming in through the North East section...

We haven't planned our route yet, we might drop down into the States right below us (Montana), or we might drive east and stop in Manitoba to see friends and relitives, then continue on to Ontario and drop down through Sault Ste. Marie and then to Detroit. Is that anywhere near where you guys will be driving through, or maybe further down we can meet?

Caglary to Detroit is quite the drive, I have done it a few times myself actually.
