I have narrowed my choices down to the following hotels for when I travel to BG:
Microtel Inn
Days Inn
Motel 6
TraveLodge
Quality Inn
Econo Lodge
I would like to save a couple of bucks when I travel but I want to know which place is the closest to the Baymont Inn (I plan on stumbling home a few nights so walking distance is the method I refer to...). If a few of these are close, which is cleaner?
If you are familiar with the area, your response would be appreciated...Thanks!!

Thanks for the info Roscoe. Are all of the hotels I listed in the same general vicinity or is it the Baymont, Motel 6, and Hampton only?
The Hampton and Motel 6 are the only ones I'd say qualify as being within stumbling distance. There are a few more across Scottsville Road from the Baymont, which would be within walking distance if you are sober, but would be a good way of getting run over if you weren't
I belive the rates at the Hamton will be about the same as the Baymont, so the only choice for a lower cost place to stay that meets your criteria would be Motel 6.
Of course, if you don't mind staying up all night, we can all chip in and pay you to be the official keg guard

I stayed at the Motel 6 last year for the Birthday Bash, the rate was $40.00 per nite and its with-in walking distance to the Baymont. :yesnod:

Well Roscoe, as you well know, the keg was pretty light by then . Nah.....Ole' Cletus stole it, I am sure, but at least he only got about 10 beers worth.. Hope we get a chance to meet him again at the next Cruise-In! :boxing
