We have a baby on the way, due only a couple weeks after the Cruise In. Otherwise, we may have given it some thought.

If I'm lucky, I won't miss out on too many of our local outings.

In an attempt to reinforce the notion I am a fool, what is Cruise In?

Hey Stan,

I might be able to do this. I have off on Thursdays and Fridays anyway. And the new gears go in next week and hopefully shortly after that I will get the paint job done so I will be ready to go. So lets make me a solid maybe.

It would be cool to get a group from CO to go.

I'm a no-go this year - we're doing the Indy 500 instead.

I was looking at mapquest it said about 18 hrs, and 1200 miles, doesn't sound too bad

You can shave quite a bit of time off the Mapquest & AAA type of estimates, too. They always seem to me to be pretty conservative with the speed limit assumptions.

yeah speed limits, i've been to sturgis on the bike and it's 400miles, well about 5hrs, so then 1200 miles would be 15 hrs

YOU ARE A FOOL!! But we all knew that.

I won't be in this year ... the 60 isn't up to a Cross Country trip ... assuming I still have it by then. I think my friend will most likely have room to take it back soon.

Looks like I can't make it.

I'll be having too much fun working and going to school.

Stan - I think it would be a hoot going to Cruise In, but taking The Beige Beast just puckers me. The blasted thing comes up with one problem, another sound or smell after another. At least locally I can handle getting a tow or repair if needed, but the idea of being stuck in an RV holding tank dump station until I get going just doesn't seem appealing.

I might be up for this guys.....I am not sure the "Voyage to Vegas" thing will work out...But I still would love to meet some of the forum members. I live in KC and I think Bowling Green is a one-day trip from here.
