I did a search on the phone # and he works at a body shop! Probably the reason he can do the paint job. From the pictures it looks pretty good anyway.
On another note, I went to where my parents live Sunday and on my way through Garden City I meet a red 95 or 96, I'd not seen that one before either. Nice looking car, got a good wave. Then going through Great Bend I meet a silver 86, I think, got another big wave.

Actually he OWNS the body shop. (or at least did in the late 80's)
It's called
Arrow Paint and Body.
When I lived there back in the mid to late 80's he was building a mid engine (big block) third gen camaro.
If anyone wants info, I still have friends there that know him.

Goodland?!! Wow, what do you get like 2 months to drive the Vette when it's not snowing up there?

The drag strip will be open soon! I feel the need for speed.
Car show had a pretty small turn out. Too bad for such a nice day. Monte Rans with his Le Mans edition ZO6 won coaches/team choice and got to drive out on the ice with the other 4 winners. Only 4 Vettes made it out. Everybody was probably out driving them instead.
I got that same feeling, made a few changes, fixed a few things over the winter. Want to see if it runs any better, probably not.
Steve; Glad you finally came out to one of our autox events. To bad it was our last for the season. If you had a good time doing it, there is another autox this weekend in Salina. From what I heard the guy that is designing the course is a "Corvette guy" so the course should be open and fast. Wichita region does not have the 2005 events posted yet, they should be up soon. There should be at least 10 to 12 events next year starting in March and ending in November.
That is perfect timing since I want to get a ton of autox events in this year. I will start school in McPherson this year so I hope to meet alot of you guys while I am in Kansas.
Well, what going on Kansas guys? Here it is May, I'll be out of school here soon. Are there any plans? I have a trip to Bowling Green scheduled in early June. What is happening with you?
Southwest guys, do you have any get togethers? Kind of anxious to meet some of you.

I graduate from Seward County today, and I don't have any real plans for summer. I just know this summer is going to be awesome and I'm going to have lots of fun.
I don't know of any get togethers happening as of now.
There is usually a group of 10 to 15 'Vettes the caravans from Liberal the 'Vettes on the Rockies' car show, but I don't know any dates or details.

Looks like Saugerties, NY on a project until June 3. Then beginning June 13 Kansas City until Sept. 5 on another project. My summer is shot all to hell beginning Monday.
