Anyone want to plan a take over of a Friday car show at KC trends? I think it would be great to meet everyone in person and have a row of 10-15 Corvettes.

Or

A meet and greet at 814 Motorsports if people don't like the KC trends idea. I've also been wanting to stop by and see Paul's set up.

Thoughts?

I that show everyother friday night? I had to run by the HY-Vee and saw some cars but was not sure what was going on.

Yes it's every other Friday. Not the best car show ever, there are a lot of highschool kids that go with crappy cars but there are also a lot of really nice cars that show. I personally enjoy going.

Just an FYI to everyone we're getting together at 814 motorsports this Saturday (4/21) from 9AM to 3PM. I hope I don't overstep my bounds but they're kind of having an open house. I would say feel free to stop by.

The KC Trends car show is getting better every time. As blackdak318 stated, there are some high schoolers there with beaters, but you'll also always see a few of each of these: Lamborghini, Ferrari, Viper, Maserati, Lotus, high end Benz, GT-R, Porsche, etc. There are always at least 20 vettes there during the course of the evening, including a bunch of Z06s and a ZR1 or two. I know of a few 1000+RWHP cars that show up on occasion.

Yes there is. Unfortunately, the City is trying to shut it down again via the OP Police Dept. because of too many exhibitions on the streets and people cheering it on....

Moving to the area soon, will keep my eye on this thread. Worst comes to worse - wouldn't mind doing a few flash mob corvette gatherings at local coffee places...sorta like an impromptu vette cars and coffee. Adults / kids whatever...no idiots though.
