no way! ugh i barely had time to eat last week...let alone check out the forum (was out of town on a business trip)
im only in town today between now and the end of october...possibly end of november and was thinking of sending the vette to ky in a few weeks via a friend because if i move in january like they are predicting i dont have time to get her to my parents between now and when its gonna snow
i cant believe i missed the aussie run.
tear.

Third annual "Aussie Run" was fun and interesting. We met a forum member that's not yet driven with the group - Welcome Paul - we were pulled over not once but twice for "Driving While In A Corvette", no one used their rear deck lid as a park bench and most importatnly no one broke their car!
Pictures to follow...

1/2 a Aussie Run is better than no Aussie run at all. I should really start checking the forum more when on my business trips. Especially when I request a cruise the week prior.
It was great seeing you guys again! Nice to see a new face (Paul) That guy on the motorcycle had it out for you on the way home!!!
I had a wonderful time...no better way to spend my only FULL day in Colorado until Late October.
Sadly I wont make the Torca Halloween Event...I wont return from Australia until 10pm on the 17th. If I had known prior I would have abandoned the outback a day earlier!!!! Guess another strike against me for not checking the forum as often as I shouuld.
Here are some pix we snapped from the tardy blue vette ... http://www.facebook.com/album.php?ai...0&l=fe1bb0c5c1

AmandaRae, glad you got my voice message and you were able to meet us for at least half the run. Would have been very sad if you missed the entire run, especially since you requested it!
I have to say, Wow! that was one of the most interesting drives we have been on. I have never experienced so much intimidation and jealousy because you drive a Vette. DANG!
As everyone said, we just had a few conversations with some LEO's and other than that it was business as usual.
Great weather, great company! Hope the weather holds out and we can get another one in.. Up north next time!
The meeting
Paul's Vette.. Check out those lights on his C5.
Pine is starting to recover from that fire long ago.
Some of the colors along the way
Always nice to see a Vette in your rearview mirror
The group at rest atop Kenosha Pass
Departing picture of some wonderful colors

Sorry I missed it. Didn't think we were going to do a run this year.
(Also I have been out of the loop pretty much since late Aug - two back surgeries and third coming) Sigh.
Amanda, I deeply regret we didn't get to do one more run before you left.
