Default Halo and Roof

I got a new tinted roof panel, and a black halo. Best part was, they were located in So Cal, and my Dad lives there. Being the uber cool dude that he is, he got the parts for me, and met me in St. George, UT the following weekend so I could pick them up.

Drive out there was ab. fab. Left early AM from Denver, arrived in Green River before lunch, and was ahead of schedule. So I headed South at Green River to Hanksville, UT. Then over across to Boulder, UT, and down thru Hatch, then over by Brian Head ski area sort of. Ended up in Cedar City, and cruised down 15 to St. George.

It took me thru Capitol Reef, Bryce Canyon, and Fish Lake National Forest. If you've never driven between Boulder, UT and Hatch, it makes Red Mountain Pass between Ouray and Silverton seem like nothing. A narrow, steep road on slickrock, with big drops on both sides.

Breathtaking scenery, in a deserted part of UT, and no UHP for miles. You know how that goes.......

Finally got the halo on- working with weatherstripping sux. I think it turned out good. I like the looks. Used to have red roof and halo, now both are black.

Photos.

Before: Interesting- I just noticed how much lower the car sits at speed. This shot was at the Sandhills One Mile Shootout, crossing the finish line- about 160mph. Apparently the C6 makes a little downforce.......I didn't realize.
