Default Aussie Run?

Is it that time again? Should we Aussie in '09?

Maybe Saturday 10/03/09 or 10/10/09...

Thoughts? Interest?

For those not there last year - http://forums.corvetteforum.com/moun...ussie-run.html

What are YOU talking about Timmy! ...thank you Timmy! for reminding me not everyone knows what I'm talking about.

*Alex Trebek voice* "Oh, sorry - We're looking for "What are you talking about Willis". (Humor)

DATE: Saturday, 10/03/09

DEPARTURE TIME: 9:00 AM

WHERE: Rally at the Denver Marriott West parking lot in Golden. Please group in the most NE corner for both visibility to other arrivals AND to avoid disturbing legitimate hotel business traffic.

-- 1717 Denver West Boulevard, Golden, Colorado 80401 --

ROUTE: 285 SW to 67. 67 South through Pine, Buffalo Creek, Deckers, and Westcreek to Woodland Park. 24 West to Antero Junction. 285 NE through Fairplay and Bailey back to Denver. Google Maps reports this is a 243 mile run.

DURATION: Per Google Maps this is approximately a 5 hour run. However, this duration DOES NOT account for slow traffic, construction, speed traps, lunch or bullsh***in'...

Janice and I are open 9/26, 9/27 & 10/3.
10/10 is the Columbus Day Parade I've been involved in that for over six years.

I would prefer the 10th of October, but could probably make the 3rd work...

Looking forward to seeing everyone again.

So far Saturday 10/03/09 is the dominant date. Should I put together a little morning breakfast thing at the shop like last year's Blue Mystery Run?
