LOL, anyone who knows me knows it doesn't apply, but.....

I did SCCA's PDX (Perf. Drving Exp) today with the hope of being signed off to time trials. Both the instructor I worked with the 1st two sessions, and the road racer who did the check run rated me a 5 (highest) on my logbook in every category. But the thing which pleased me most was this comment:

"I'd not only be comfortable being on the track with Gordon, I'd be comfortable being beside him".

Pretty good stuff in the road racing world. I've come so far since April it's hard for even me to believe though I know it, and feel it. Unfortunately I can't run with them tomorrow, but patience is a virtue!

congrats!!!

Its nice to get high marks from fellow drivers.

Kieth ( A.K.A. maxx schick) ran a session with me at HPR a few weeks back. I LOVE nothing more than sharing track time with fellow enthusiast. He pushed his stock tire C6Z to the limit and gracefully controlled it before letting me by...to be fare I was on R888's.

It takes guts to strap yourself in the passenger seat of these speed rockets.

I told that to my instructor at Road Amercia last year (1st time running with the NCM..didn't have a choice) but WOW! was I glad he did. he has far more laps around RA than I and by the end of the first day, and solo sign off, I had picked up TONS of time from his input.

Its great to follow a faster driver ( Vs. car) around a road course. Thats how I got fast skiing. life s a lesson and there will always someone else faster who can teach you a few things!
