Default 2009 Vette's On The Rockies

Who is going to Vette's On The Rockies this year?

I'll be there to collect some awards (as usual ).

I may need to get some new shoes before I go...

I just found out that it's from the 23rd to the 26th and I'm really pissed. I bought my car like 2 days after it last year and was really looking forward to going this year, but I thought it was later and booked a trip to FL from the 22nd to the 29th.

On another note, I need to throw some business your way, can you shoot me your phone number?

1. I am sorry to hear that you will not be attending. Your energy and enthusiasm would've made for an interesting Funkana competition.

2. I would love to send you my phone number but your inbox is full!

I may run up early Sunday. Not to show - just to walk Main St. a few times and leave before the Sunday afternoon traffic gets ridiculous .

If I get my car back together by then I will do this also.

I am in the process of tubbing the Vette and it is proving to be a bigger job than I expected...

Tubbing is something I've long wanted to do with my Z.

Will probably just drive up early Sunday to walk main street and check out the cars! My car is NOT a show car, but a GO car!

If my car were a Z the job would be much easier. The coupe speaker box is a pain to deal with...

Should be a small group from Steamboat heading down Sunday for the show and shine. Fortunately no I-70 traffic for us.

The wife and I will be there for all four days (mentally, I am already there!). Really looking forward to going, as always.

A small group (9 cars) from the Lone Star Corvette Club will be coming up to get out of this 100+ degree heat. Leaving early Wednesday and should arrive sometime Thursday afternoon. We are looking forward to a great time in the mountains!

The past few years we have been parking in some office building parking lot right behind the main street. Right when you get to "Main Street", turn west (right), take the first right on 7th street, go 1/2 block to like an alley, take a left. Driving down the alley, you will see the parking lot on your right, go to 6th take a right and then a short right into the parking lot. Otherwise on the East side of hiway 9, there is a lot more open parkkng.
