Default April 11th - Free Corvette Dyno Day! [Denver]

I thought I would share this with everyone.

2nd Annual FREE DYNO DAY
Saturday at the shop, April 11th from 9:30am till 4:00pm

What is a Dyno?
A Dyno allows us to measure your cars performance in horse power at the rear wheels.

Our DynoJet 224x is capable of measuring 1500 rear wheel horse power and up to 200 mph. This tool is invaluable to us
since it allows us to view the engine, mount test equipment, and monitor things not possible on the street.

Each Dyno test includes a pre-dyno safety inspection, three wide open throttle test pulls with applicable scan equipment and analysis.

This is a $100.00 value for FREE!

Please RSVP to Rich or call 303-298-8388 for more information.

Good to see you again Scott, your car ran some very respectable #’s.
We had to leave just before the ZR1 ran.
I was guessing 580 hp at the wheels, anyone know what it put down?

Man I was so po'd. I had really wanted to, and planned to be there but ended up having to work to meet a deadline for tomorrow morning. I was not a happy camper.

I think it was around 565hp/550tq on the second pull for the ZR1 but I'm not sure, pretty close though.

The Intake/Headers C6Z was around 450hp if not more.

The curves for the two cars were pretty close to being the same shape just higher for the ZR1.

Later, an Intake/Headers/Exhaust untuned LS3 M6 Coupe did about 400hp/400tq.

Interesting, any idea what the correction factor was hovering around that day? 450whp corrected sounds low for the modded C6Z .

It was at least 450, I'm almost positive it was higher. I just wasn't focused on it as I was on the ZR1.

The ZR1 was 550hp/542tq (corrected to altittude). What a beautiful car!! I am almost done with the individual dyno videos and will be going up this week. I think the top Hp maker for the day was the Procharged Z06 at about 748.21 hp. But a lot of great numbers for everyone! I even made a ringtone for my phone from a few of those dynos..(i think yours russ) hehehe

It was a great event!

Another slide show

And hey! Dont make fun of that odd red not vette in the slide show.... I love my beater!! hahaha
