Default Manual Transmission Rebuild Shop (Richmond)

I need a Doug Nash 5 speed (Richmond Transmission) transmission rebuilt. Does anyone know of a shop in Colorado Springs or Denver area that is familiar with this type of trans?

Sorry B, I don't get on the forum as often as I like. I own a tranny shop
Washington and 7oth AV (exit 216B heading north on I25). some of the guys here can verify our work.
We just did an 84 for a guy. Overdrive was fine just needed tranny rebuild.
Every year of the 6 speed works differently, this guy drove an 86 and wondered why his 84 didn't work the same. It's not supposed to. I had to get a writeup to show him.

PM me at billyb0423@aol.com for any tranny work. Or send a note to Bandit or Timmy and they'll let you know about my shop

This Doug Nash is an aftermarket transmission (bought out by Richmond), thats why I was looking for a specialist that is familiar with the setup. This is not a (GM) transmission. I have found people that are willing to take it on but I need someone that has prior experience with rebuilding the Doug Nash. It dosent shift as smooth as it should and its not the syncos. Not a slam toward you.

Default 1984 Corvette with a Doug Nash 4+3.

I have an 1984 Corvette with a Doug Nash 4+3. The car shifts well in all gears without grinding, no hardshifting or noise.

The overdrive is switchable to turn on or off. The RPMs drop when overdrive is switched on.

Problem: While in 2nd gear while decelarating. The car will pop out out gear.

What do you think it could be?

What would needed to be repaired or replaced?
