Anyone here going? I think I just might be....... I have wanted to see just what she will do. I am hoping and thinking low 13's, but I will never know just how slow she is until I try it.
Details........... tomorrow gates open at 3:00 time trials begin at 3:30, if you make it in the gate before 5:30 you are guarenteed 2 time trials. price is $35 to race or just $10 to watch.

I probably won't be there but you should be in the 13s easy (thanks to practicing with TopCat...). If you're good, you can get into the high 12s. Goose got a flat 13.00 on his nearly stock '02 Z06.

Good luck Joe

Bandimere knows that the C5 Z06 is a sub 14 second car and with therefore require you and your passenger to wear helmets. If you're good, you can get into the high 12s. TY, Nah, Cody will still be in school, besides, he's been there a million times already. Me and the mrs. will be there waiting on the gates to open at 3. I of course already have a helmet, so does the wife, (due to living at Bandi with my "other" car). I am just a lil worried about my launch (as in the how the heck to, I am and have been, reading everything ranger has to say about it), I am used to all 4 wheels with a very very quick slip/dump at 6k, and low 1.6 60's with street tires........lol but it should still be a fun time! High 12's would be awesome and I would feel a lil bit better about the car!

Darn, I have to miss out on this one. I'm working on beer sorting for the Great American Beer Festival or I'd take off early from work.... nix that, got nails in the tires that I need fixed.

Anyway, good luck. Would've loved to been there and have you teach me how to launch. Let me know when another opportunity arises.... PM me so I won't miss it.

I will......... if/when I do another. This will be the first time for me dragging this car, and the last "club clash". But there are also test and tunes etc..... depending on how tomorrow goes I will see if I do another or not! It's just really hard to convince myself to start all over again (I am used to running low to mid 11's......lol, and will be working on 10's once (if I ever get the money) I get my 6 point put in, with the lighter crank, and twin disc.

Is Club Clash still crazy? Last time I raced it ( 2years ago maybe?), there were like 300+ cars and you were lucky to get 2 time trials. I raced my Vette in that series for like 5 or 6 years and just got tired of how long it was between runs. Is it still like that?

I have no idea myself, I hope it isn't too bad. I have just been wanting to run the 'vette, just to see......... And I have today off since I pulled (well, still am) a 24hr duty, so that will give me plenty of time to make it to Denver from the Springs. I really hope I get at least 4 tries down the track, gunna need that just to figure out this RWD crap!!!
