So the guy comes tomorrow with the rest of the payment. 70 y.o. gentleman with a modified '53. Wants something different for road trips.
I've had her over 6 years and I'll probably cry when she goes, but Big Blue gets all my drive time now and it's a sin to just let 'Lil Red just rot in the garage.
He bought it for the most expensive price I had advertised off of A-Trader, which is where all the phone calls came from except for one out of Texas that came from here.
I'm gonna need a high-speed fix to get over her.... and SOON! (Like I need an excuse... lol)

I would have to agree if after upgrading to the ZO6 you’re still turning off the active handling and traction control!
Well, after a little side kick up near Boulder with straatien and ????, what's his handle again straat? the black C6. Anyway, I hit water and then went over a bump in a curve on an on-ramp that sent me completely sideways.... I now hold the button down for 7 secs (performance mode) to give me a little more time to respond. It's still fun in the rain and lets me spin and slide quite a bit
I get rather ticked when I forget to turn the perf mode on and the car darn near stalls when pulling out into traffic with a heavy foot.
Funny thing, though. I think the previous owner was stretching the truth. I haven't gotten anything near 30 mpg in the car since I got it. What's that all about?
Congrats I was wondering why you had a Blue Z as your avatar
Thanks, mate. Long story behind why I got it.... starts with the $4000 worth of damage the muffler shop did to my new (2000 model) Toyota Tacoma while welding on it... followed by the $2000 worth of body damage they did while trying to fix the $4000 accident (which they bungled and had to be handled by the dealership).
Long, long story involving a late model Trans Am with a 6-spd.
