What Bozarth Chevy thinks about "Corvette people".
I have spent nine out of the past ten years in auto sales. Two at a couple of Chevy stores and the past five at a used Corvette store.
Yesterday I went to the Ed Bozarth Chevy store at Park Meadows to ask for a job. The sales manager was pleased with my history and wanted to hire me. But all new hires go through the general manager who happens to be the owners brother.
So I went down today for which turned out to be the interview from hell. After reading my resume, he pretty much vented is anger at me for a few minutes.
At one point he said, "There is no such thing as a Corvette Sales Specialist! And to claim you are one is an insult to my intelligence. I've got news for you, Corvettes sell themselves. I can take a monkey from the zoo, put a tie on him, and he can sell Corvettes all day long to these idiots. There is nothing special about these cars. And there is nothing special about these jerks that come in and harass my salesmen." Then he continued to verbally attack me some more.
Long story shot, I just walked out speechless. I was in stuned amazement of what this SOB said.

That's pretty crazy!
I know there service people are pretty nice, they are the ones that did my ring job. The service mgr even remembers my name and has always came up and talked for minute when I had to go in and do the oil checks.
As for the salesman, I think the sales people harass more than the "idiots", I have 2 of their salesman call me every time they get a blue corvette in, to come in and test drive. But even they are really nice.
Too bad the GM was an , because they do seem to have a pretty good inventory of vettes all the time.
What happened with Medved?

Isn't there a local club associated with Bozarth? I wonder what they would think about that.

That is unbelievable, but not surprising. When I bought my '03 vette they wanted sticker plus a delivery charge. They flat out stated I would not find a new Corvette anywhere in Colorado for less. Guess what? I purchased from their competitor for less.

I'm almost tempted to go over there, and try to buy a Vette, then after we're really deep into the deal, I will tell them I don't want to buy them because their saleman lacked the knowledge on vettes I was looking for, and he didn't sound too convincing/knowledgeable!

Note to self: Never do business with Ed Bozarth or any business in the Denver-metro area that has "Bozarth" in the name.
Sorry this opportunity went in the tank Eric. It sounds like you might have gotten lucky and got out of a job where you are being overseen by a family of idiots! This guy has no business dealing with the public, his brother should have made him the supervisor of the dumpster and that's about it.

Sorry to hear that! I bought my vette from Bozarth over on Havana and the experience was ok, not great by any means but not a bad one.
I bought the Mustang from O'meara and thought they were great, actually better than most....

What I think about Bozarth Chevy!
To Z-07 freak:
I think you are indeed a freak. It is too bad that you cannot speak truth. Kent Bozarth is the General Manager at the Park Meadows Bozarth Chevrolet dealership. I bought my 2007 Corvette convertible there this month and I think Kent and his team have done an outstanding job. Kent has a motto: Underpromise and overdeliver. For me he did both. He accepted a GMID certificate from me so I purchased my Awesome Corvette at a GREAT price and it arrived from the factory weeks earlier than we thought it would. The sales and finance staff did all they could to make my purchase a pleasant and fun experience. My first oil change was performed at their service department and that also went well. Kent and his team have a profound understanding of good customer service. They know how to take care of their customers! In short, Mr. Freak, YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT!
