Default Hey Wichita Guys, question abou WSU

Hey, everybody.

Hopefully a few of you Wichita guys can chime in and give me your opinion here.

I'm considering going to WSU next year. I'm just curious on what you city guys' thoughts on the university are. Obviously, all the literature they send me tell me how great it is. What are the thoughts about the the school in the community? Is it an upstanding school, or is its greatest claim to fame that BTK is an alum?

Anybody have strong feelings toward the school one way or another? Good, bad, indifferent?

I have a visit scheduled for this upcoming Monday when I'm town, hopefully that will answer any questions or concerns I have.

One more question:
Do any local Corvette clubs provide scholarships to needy students?

My brother got his bachelors from WSU. I think overall it is a very highly respected university, especially the Aeronautical engineering departments. I'm kicking myself for not going there when I had the chance, probably wouldn't still be paying off the student loans I have.

Just kidding! Thanks for the replies, guys.

EDIT: By the way, welcome to forum. I think you'll find it a good place to hang out, and you'll definetly learn a lot along the way. Congratulations of the new car. Post some pictures if you can.
