Default z06s in CO...need some video with my c6

Im a member of a couple different forums and the video between the z16 and the silver c6 has been posted a few times...if you havent seen the video the z06 wins the two from a roll and the c6 the one from a dig. The z16 is stock with just a tune and the c6 is an auto z51 that is stock as well...many ppl want to see a more fair run like between a STOCK z06 and a STOCK mn6 z51 c6. I have the c6 so if anyone in the area wants to do a friendly run and maybe get it on video many ppl would be thankful. if you want to see the video im talking about go to www.corvettekillstories.com and look in the corvette street racing area.

So to sum up....any stock z06s in the area down for a friendly run.

I have a stock Z06, but I don't race it nor would I allow anyone else to race it for me. Sorry. I will, however, be very interested to watch such an event if you find someone willing to run.

Hi Yogi,

I don't have a Z06 but we could pretend that my coupe is stock.

I may go to the breakfast. I am going to assess how much gravel is still on the roads tomorrow and make a decision then. I do want to see your C6 though!

I don't street race. However, Bandimere opens April 8th.I do a want to run my lowly lowly lowly 385 hp Z06 at Bandimere in April before it get's too hot on top of the 5800' altitude. BTW-It dynoed 360/363 in Dallas, Tx...and 12.43 @114.9. I only have a donaldson, but i'll throw the stock airbox on if you want to run 100% stock for stock against a C6. 1.82 60 foot is my best on stock goodyears. Yeah let's run. I think my Z can take a C6 6 speed...It would be close though...

This Saturday April 8 I'm draggin' my "stock" Turbo T if you want to run that j/k - it is putting the hammer down these days- hopefully low 11s @125+.

Post your time's once you make your 1/4 mile runs, I'm sure a few of us would like to see the difference the altitude makes here verus your run in Texas

Should be just about a full second slower, give or take a tenth or two. The correction factor is .9276 for Bandi.

I'm thinking the Z pulling down high 13's @105 would be about right. Glad the Buick is boosted to keep me from being depressed about my slowvette...
