    Hi John,

Have not heard form you in awhile. I've done some work stripping the vette. Let me know what you think.

    Joe,
Great history. Get it on the road and enjoy it this summer. You'll be all motivated to bite off a few projects every summer or winter as you slowly sort it out.
    Regards,
    John

Hi John - Sorry I haven't answered but we've been running for a couple of weeks with various things. I am over in Lakeland/St. Croix Beach, so roughly 20-25 miles from Eagan. Incidentally I lived in Eagan for a number of years until married (back in the mid-80's to early 90's). I would love to get involved in the local club and get to know you and others to see cars, trade advice, eventually participate in some events, etc.

Just got our L46 fired up last week. Bled brakes and took it around the block last night. We will take ownership in approx. 1-2 months (family probate, etc.) and it will be my project for the coming years. This car needs quite a bit of work, but all of the bare bones are there - not much rust to speak of, and most of it is heavy detailing and replacing suspension bushings, tires, etc. Next up is a tune-up and to finish sorting out the brakes. The car has been sitting a very long time -- 1000 miles on it during the past 20 years by an uncle.
