Hey Doc V8 - came across this site a while back and have to say I love your collection, congrats! I have never owned a vette but your '01 C5 with the built 382 is especially intriguing, I've always been a fan of the smaller displacement, higher revving V8s like the LT5 and LS1/6. I am thinking about getting a used C5 in the next year or two with the goal of eventually speccing it out almost exactly like yours, I really love that you have the f45 suspension and kept the stock mag wheels (and way to delete those ugly side moldings too!), a true daily driving sleeper!

A couple of questions for you...not sure how often you drive it but how has the f45 system held up since you owned it? Ever track the car (either road or strip) and if so how does the f45 perform in those settings (in sport mode I'd assume)? I also see you went with the stock titanium Z06 exhaust over the more popular Borla/Corsa etc., any reason why? I've read a lot of high praise for that exhaust system, so it's cool to see it used in other applications. Also, is there anywhere else on the web or on these forums where I can read more about your 382 and see more pictures? Would love to read more details about how the whole project came together.

Sorry for so many questions at once! Again, much respect for your collection, I really appreciate your preference for subtly and tastefully modded corvettes, keep it up!

Hi....How many miles on your 90 Z? I miss all the Zr-1's I had & wished a 100 times I had a 415..I think it is the best looking engine I ever seen...You have a great color...If you have any pics, I would enjoy looking at them...I have a 07 LeMans Z06 w/583 HP, 93 383 Lingenfelter w/Callaway aero since new, 08 viper coupe & a 06 viper convertible but I still feel like my garage is missing something without a ZR-1..Thanks
