    I don't like synthetics. Normally I buy whatever name brand is on sale and the latest version of Dexron, usually Valvoline.
    I really have not seen differences after disassembling transmissions with non synthetics, but always see torn up hardparts when transmissions use synthetic. This applies to all brands I have disassembled. Not sure why this occurs, but I see it often enough to catch my attention.
