Didn't know about his PM box being full. Paging posts are usually deleted because they're not related to the section. Fill me in on the issues with "corvette kid" and I'll unlock the thread. Thanks!

    Hey,
I'm interested in the shocks and might be interested in everything.
What would youlike to get out of the shocks?
    Thanks
    Joe

I would highly recommend talking to TPI421VETTE. He has built engines for several forum members including me. You'll hear nothing but good things about his work. I suspect he could build you a quality custom engine for what you would pay for a crate. And you would know all the specs.

It is a real chore to get the two bottom screws out. The bottom brackets on mine MAY be bent slightly but they are not stripped or anything. I'll get some pics tomorrow, probably in the afternoon, I have a dr. appointment in the a.m.

    Re bread box

Thanks for your reply. I dread the project replacing the bread box on my car, it is the worst looking part of my interior. The PO scratched it all up, looks like his passenger used it for a foot rest.

I missed a few shows last year because of work, but took the time off for the bigger ones.
Got the Vette on the highway and went to Springfield today and had a good time. Had no problems with the Vette and got 25-27 mpg between 65 and 70 mph with Kelly behind the wheel.

I spent 35 years working rotating shifts,, backwards. I hated every minute of all 35 years. Got in hot water many times for calling in for events such as this cruise. Back when I drag raced every week I was always in trouble for going racing instead of going to work.

I agree with the weather. I'll be taking that day off and still hoping for day shift.

I know exactly what you mean, I put the insurance back on mine yesterday and took it out to see if rebalancing the tires did any good. It did, 100 mph+ and smooth as a baby's butt. I really hope the weather lets us do the museum trip.
