    Hey Jim,

Hope things are going good for you!

I was hoping to have a little get together for the Northern Cal crowd, but unfortunately it looks like things aren't going to work out.

My Father in Law began experiencing stomach problems last February.

After becoming progressively worse, and after seeing several Doctors, he moved in with us at the end of June.

During the multiple trips to the Hospitals, they found a large mass on his right lung. It was lung cancer, and they removed it. After several tests it was determined that it had not spread anywhere.

Yet unfortunately, he has not improved much at all. Still significant stomach problems and my wife has become a 24 hour care giver.

No problems with helping him get through his situation, but we haven't hardly an hour to our time.

Unfortunately, we won't be able to host a get together at all. But if you're in the area, please do give me a call, and stop by if you have an opportunity.

    Take care, Pat

Noticed a thread you replied to re ; hurst shifter install.

I have a 62. Installing muncie trans and hurst comp plus shifter. I've tried several install kits from hurst and no luck so far. Their install kits include shifter mounting plate, arms and rods.

Do you recall which hurst kit you used. I am currently working with the kit they make for 58-62 corvettes but the mounting plate puts the shifter too far back and the angle of the slots in the arms ( which attach to side cover ) are oriented much too far forward.

I;m in dublin ca. If you're close , maybe I could see what you did

    thanks

    Mark

Hey Jim, thanks for the shout-out in the joke thread....made my day.

By the way, I tried to leave a PM but your box is full, and won't accept anymore.

James, are you showing me this photo as some sort of a cruel joke (only kidding) or can you get your hands on the body parts I need?

I seen your for sale stuff here and noticed that you still have your CA address...i bet if you changed it some people in the east would pay more attention to your location....that is unless the parts are in CA...but i doubt it....

    hope you sell it all..
