I just recently swapped to full coilovers from Van Steel, but for 84s I think it's recommended to stick with the leafs as the shock towers aren't meant to support the weight of the car. The wheels I got from OEwheelsllc.com down in Sarasota, FL (short drive for me). 17x11, 315/35/17 on all four corners. For an 84, you'll need adapters for the back, just not sure how big they need to be, but OEwheels may have them with the correct backspacing. Most guys just run a 17x8.5 with 255/45/17 and 17x9.5 with 285/40/17's. You can also run 17x9.5s on all fours so you can rotate your tires. Thanks for the compliments.

For any suspension mods, I've got to recommend VanSteel.com (800-418-5397). If you call, Paul or Dan are great to deal with!

Hi. I saw a response that you had for somebody that had a heater problem. I was wondering if you could help me? I saw the picture you took of your engine, with something that had some wire attached to it and some bolts holding it down. It's circled in red. I'm not real mechanical, but I'd like to give it a shot and see if I can fix my problem. Do I remove that part that you have circled? Is there anything underneath that I need to be careful of when I mess with it that I can't see? I would appreciate any help you can give me. Thanks. Gary
