I wore out the 4k stall and replaced it with a Yank PA-3,600. With the lower power level, you want to get that 60 foot time down as low as possible. 1 tenth at the bottom equates to 2 tenths at the top...I no longer have the car but ran 3,73 gears and the cam was in the 248/248 - 648/648 range. Mine was my daily driver for years. I changed the drag package before trailering it to the track. I would recommend a higher stall if you are staying all motor.

What size cam was in your 98 VETTE? Would a vig 3200 work with a g5x1 228 232, g5x2 232 240, or g5x3? Would you do 373 or 390 gears? Mine is mainly just a street car, street tires, toy around with friends on the weekends. Thanks.

It's an automatic, heads / cam car with a stock (346 ci) bottom end. built specifically to run the pro 10.50 index @ Etown. That series is no more, the car is certed to run 10.00 so that and brackets are options as well as serving as a daily driver. I'd like to see the vid :-)
