I don't wish to get Luther into any trouble. He seems like a wonderful fellow and we greatly enjoyed his stories. I don't mean to imply that he told us he ever shot anyone down etc and nobody asked him about that. He did make it clear that he was a navigator but also did say he had flown quite a number of different planes, including the ones that I mentioned.

He told us he was one of 5 living members in the New England area.

I hope he didn't tell us any lies. I hope I am just romanticizing his stories. I'm dissappointed to hear this from you. I can't see why he would not tell us the truth.

Is this a problem? I will withdraw the post if it is.

Unfortunately, he lied to you about his experiences...first of all, he was NOT a pilot, but rather ONLY a navigator, and he certainly is NOT one of the last Tuskegee Airmen...he told you and your group numerous lies!!!
