I have owned my 1993 since November of '93 and it has been a weekend/nice day car. I started modding it to keep it interesting as I have had it for so long. My first mods were an LT4 top end w/ the Hotcam. Then I went with my current 383 set up.

Benny's Truck and Auto Repair on US 1 and about SW 286 ST on the west side. It's between Southern Muffler and a A1A Sod. He'll tighten your Vette up at a fair price and he's got years of GM experience. Glad to hear your alive and well. I've been off the radar myself but doing well.

Angelo; What ever happened with your car? Did you ever get it straightened out? Are you going to Reflections Saturday? Let me know what happened since you last wrote.

I have had a Nightmare since doing my 383, The shop that did it SUCKS and I'm on the third build from him...I'm going to visit him tommorrow to have a sit down with him...I want the money back from this last build, It's a long story, but bottom line he has ost all my confidence..I have paid him around 13K$ in the three builds... and It's running like crap, smoking like crazy and all this with less tham 100 miles on this last build..I had a couple of guys look at it and the last guy poppes a valve cover of for me..and much to my surpris. the idiot, is using the same GMPP 1.6 rockers that I had on the car from a build I did before taking the car to him. If he cant set up my heads right, what make me think he did the rotating assembly properly..I think I'm going to get my money back, or sue him for the whole 13K$. I want to put in a forged Golen engine 383 short block with my heads anf top end..Of course I'm going to ger my heads checked to see if this idiot fucked them up. Hopefull they can be set up properly. The guy I took it to today Is the Service manager for Williamson Caddillac, and he has his own Hot rods including a 700hp V8 pwered Buick T-Type. So he has also recommended a couple of places that can set up a a Glen engind short block for me...Hey We should get together, let me know my # is 305-322-6559. I have not enjoyed my Vette for going on two years!

Believe it or not, Kent and only Kent at Homestead Chevrolet works on my vettes. My 91 has a supercharged 383 also. He is an excellent Corvette mechanic. I've tried a few others but they've all been hacks compared to him. I pay a little more for labor but it gets done right the first time. It's cheaper than some of the so called Vette specialty shops. I have another guy in South Miami too that comes very highly recommended and is a classis Corvette owner also. He does lots of work on classics and antique cars. Honest and qualified. His name is Jay. J's Automotive Service 5876 SW 69 St 33143 ph# 305 661 6722. Homestead Chevrolet you can look up on google. Make sure only Kent works on your car. Request him if you choose them. If you have any questions give me a pm. A 383 should not be any more complicated than any other small block chevy.

Check out the partsladi (something like that) on ebay. Last time I checked they were taking orders for future delivery.
