I was wondering if you could answer a quick question.

I have a modded 05 c6 Z51 - last couple years taking it out of storage 2 and 3 gears are definitely starting to go and hard shifts as well.

I bought a used z06 (2006) trans from a forum vendor. My trans/car has no cooling lines/provisions for them. The Z06 unit has the lines. We had messaged a couple times on the installation.

Realizing the lines add life expectancy to the unit - would it be any problem to block off the lines on the Z06 trans and run it without them like the Z51 unit presently runs? Granted shorter life expectancy but if I can get a couple years out the Z06 trans it would like me save up for a built unit.

Thank you and I appreciate the time!
    Cheers!

Been reading up on u on the forum and you sound like a really talented guy in the c community. At some point I will be looking to do some AR headers on my 08 vette. I am on long island. What do you usually charge for an install on these and how long does the install usually take. Also do you tube the car after the install.
Are you ever up in the li area doing these.
    Thanks
    Steve

Hey Steve, I stumbled on your name while looking at threads about installing '12 steering wheels. I gather you live somewhere along the Space Coast. I'm in Rockledge and would like to see if I could get you to install a wheel for me. I'm in the Air Force and currently deployed. I should be home around mid November and would like to do it then. Will you be around? Thanks

Hey Steve, I talked to you on the phone a couple weeks ago about coming to central NY to install a HUD in my 06. I've found one other person who's interested. I know you said you need 3 or more to make the trip worth your while. Just wondering if you heard from anyone else near me who's interested who would like get group together.
    Thanks, Darryl

I live in upstate ny and am looking into converting to a head up display in my 98 vette coupe. How much does it cost or does the design of the 98 mfg in 12/97 make it not doable reasonably???
