I haven't seen Xpel even though I'm getting it. Have talked with others that have it and even the installer last week as I had those concerns. He said you cannot see the seams without looking hard. They have even had customers show up and get mad that there car wasn't done with Xpel as requested only for the customer to find out is was on the car and they couldn't tell. PM me back after 3/7 and I can give you some more insights and even some pics.

Hi there! New around here and I see you're getting the Museum delivery with the XPel protectant. Have you ever seen a car with this before in real life? Just wondering if you can see a seam where the Xpel film ends if you don't get the full coverage. Any info you can provide would be wonderful! I'm getting my 2014 Z51 a the Museum in about 2 months!

Good to here from you. Are you a member of any clubs? On Thursday nights a bunch of us get out for a cruise in at Kirby/Whitten and Stage. I see that you have Barry (Allegro) as your only listed friend. Barry is a freind of mine and I would like to be a friend of yours. Check out the folks in my friends section. Think I paid $900 in early '02 for it. Breathless Performance Products made them from stock C5 hoods so the fit is perfect. I think a couple years ago they sold the design to Eklerd's. It is called the cold air heat exchange hood. I get all kinds of compliments on it as it is nearly one of a kind since I've never seen it on another vette in person in nearly 7 yrs now. I have seen a forum member who had a black one. My wife is dying to get one for her Z06 but they don't have them available.
