    Hi Matt. I’m Doug Ashton, Matt Ashton’s dad and fellow Corvette enthusiast. Matt sent me a picture of your Vette and I recognized the avitar in the C2 Forum while I was browsing the Forum. I read your post about your engine swap and was really impressed on the quality of your (and your son’s) work. Looks like a fantastic add to a fantastic car. I bet you’re itching to get back to the States and hop in the Vette for a ride. There’s nothing like it, is there? We’ll, nice talking to you and good luck over in Oki. It’s been 25 years since I was there with HMH-361 on a UDP deployment. I miss those days. Take care Matt and tell my Matt that I recognized your car.
