Hi Mike. Merry Christmas buddy. Sorry to hear about you MIL. I hope she has met Linda. I find pennies all the time and count every one as a "Penny from Heaven". I save them all in Linda's bedroom.
Great to hear from you. Yesterday 12/28/14 would have been Linds 32nd birthday. Hard to believe it's been 9.5 years since we lost her.
Thanks so much for taking time to contact me. It means a lot.
    Glenn

Hi Pat..The only thing I carry with me are the snap in jacking pucks. But I do belong to AAA so I guess that helps. Remember if your Vette ever needs to be towed it must be done on a flatbed.
To answer your question about service I would ask the service manager if he had a Vette which one of his techs would he trust? Take your time and maybe ask some Vette people in your area?
One more thing (and this could save you some $$$) when it's time for your oil changes see if the dealer will let you supply the oil and filter. I get a case (6 qts) of Mobil1 at Costco for $31.00 on sale and a Mobil1 oil filter at Advance Auto for $9.99. The dealer charges me $15.00 and they dispose of the old oil.
One more thing...where ever you bring your Vette for service...BEFORE they do the paperwork have someone go with you and do a walk around the car. Also do this AFTER they service your Vette but BEFORE you pay and drive off. Those body panels are expensive.
    Hope this helps
    Mike

Mike, Thanks for the nice message on Christmas Eve. Sorry for the late reply, I just saw your message now. Hope you had a wonderful Christmas and I wish you the very best for 2013. I'm always finding those "Penny's From Heaven" and I always think of your story to me and the first 3 pennies I found in 2005....

Born and raised in E.Irondequoit. Went to Bishop Kearney '73. Worked for DuPont on Driving Park Avenue. When they closed in '95 I was offered a transfer to TN. We have never looked back.
Where does your daughter live in TN?

Mike, we're in Chili Center, west side of town. Congrats on leaving this state. Our daughter lives in TN and loves it. NY has a lot to offer but the politics, politicians and taxes are ruining it for those of us who are left. Where were you when you lived here?
