    Ken,
Long time fan of your restoration - I have read through the whole think about a dozen times. Thanks for documenting like you have; it is fascinating and inspiring.
I have a 1977 and am planning on doing a steering column rebuild like you did back in 2006. It seems complicated, but do-able.
    1. Do you remember if you used Jim Shea's steering column instructions or some other guide? What resources do you recommend?
    2. Which parts needed to be replaced? Any that I know for sure I should plan on replacing, so I can pre-order them in preparation.
    3. For the plastic and the metal parts you sanded, primed and painted: did you sand by hand or use a sander? Where did you get you paint from, ie correct color, etc?
    Thanks in advance!
