got my license from the Pittsburgh Institute of Aeronautics in 1967, and originally worked as an engine mechanic for GE. Went back to school and got my BS in engineering (University of Dayton). Ended up retiring from Lockheed-Martin - worked as a development engineer on flight simulators and maintenance trainers. Last job before retirement was working on the aircraft systems maintenance trainer for F-35 (JSF). my neighbor's a retired ASI with the FAA - Chris Jefferies - would you happen to know him?
