    The trick is the all threads which will align block,brace and water pump.

    Maybe it didn’t go through. Use a hydraulic Jack with a 2x6 under the oil pan. Use all thread on the top 2 bolts. Slide water pump on brace, install bottom 2 bolts. Remove all thread and install top bolts.
