Painting the calipers is a good idea. powder coating is nice, there is a place on Brandt Ave. that does powder coating, with summer coming down time would be bad timing. Headers are pricey. Sounds like you are getting it the way you want. Check feed back on changing shift points, Not sure if I would do that. We went to hershey outlets today 124 on the turnpike bridge. Laurie liked it, not as much as me though.

I am skipping the headers. I dont really need them as it wont do much as I want more cosmetic things then performance. I had fluids changed, changed thermostat, and radio done down there only. I have new C6Z06 shocks and sway bars with metal ends which was WAY cheaper than doing headers and will have that done up here with Taz. I am going to paint my calipers (now) and upgrade to the C5zo6 rotors eventually. That all was 1/3 the price of just headers and tune. I will have it tuned at Carlisle by East Coast Corvette guys for the shifts later summer. That will give me enough hp for my needs. The xtra 30 hp gain for headers didnt seem worth the 3K price tag. If I ever do them I will have Taz do them down the road. Its where I will want it to be at for a few years. I got tunes, topless, and some nice hp to keep me happy!!!!

You should be getting excited to get it back. Brakes, my vote would be to wear out what you got on it. Then when they need to replaced do a package that works on the street. Headers, you may as well upgrade the throttle body and have a tune. Just my opinion. probably 30,000 miles left on the pads, 6 years of driving for you. flush the brake system and keep on truckin

Yes, I think its is just condensation from not running her.Yes, they have the same dyno as they use at Bowling green. It all comes down to price to do them at this point. My wish list was Radio, headers, Red calipers, slotted and drilled rotors. Then I am done. So Radio will be done. I have to choose between headers or Calipers and brakes at this point. I am not sure if doing headers is worth it or not. Calipers and brakes would be cheaper!
